We have been trying to get tickets to see The Harlem Globetrotters for about a week now and after many web page errors and unanswered phone calls.
I am so angry and sad. " I am sorry mam we do not have any wheelchair accessible seating "
I am now in a wheel chair more than not since my condition is worse but we still try and do fun things together .
The girls loved The Globetrotters in Denmark and have been begging to go here in Tennessee.
They are finally here so I have been trying for a week to get some online and by calling the ticket place.
Here is what they told me. First she said if I wanted a wheelchair seat we could not sit together as a family or maybe they could put a folding chair next to me.Umm Excuse ME!! my girls are 9 and 4. Then she said there were no handicap seating available unless we got the floor seats at over 100$ each !?!?!?
So now we cannot go :( Why can places not have available seating or are we suppose to suffer because we are handicapped. I just do not get it and I guess I won't.
I have dealt with being pushed out of the way because people at the Zoo want to get closer than me and it makes me sad that people have so little respect for others. I was taught that we should be kind and treat others the way we want to be treated and I try to live by this rule. The other thing tat makes me sad is why can't places have enough seating for people with disabilities.
