Finally escaped the house.

It was an ok day so we went walking in our new area today.The wind was a bit cold but here are some pics of the view 5 minutes away.

So my parent got the girls new seats for their birthdays.We needed a new set since we have a new to us car.Makayla really want the "pink one" but she was just as happy later about her moo one.Thanks Mom and Dad they love them.

Landlord update

For those of you lucky enough to hear me complain about all this for the last few months THANK YOU for listening.
We made an appointment with LLO and asked questions about our rights and what we needed to do etc to keep our sanity.
The landlord is changing Real Estate places and they want to come in and have a look so we needed some ground rules since the last visits crossed personal boundries.
These are the things we addressed in a letter
house

cannot tell us what to hang on walls and cannot not tell us we cannot
have candles in windows
cannot move trash to front of house
cannot look in windows any more or police will be called
showing of house must be with 5 days notice and it must be ok with
us.(cannot demand it be a certian day )
cannot open drawers or closets EVER
lastly
when the house is sold after the 90 day take over the new owners must
notify us in writing they will be moving in and we have one year!

So we had it all printed and ready to go and he stopped by this morning before we mailed them.
Soren had a talk with him and it has been mostly worked out.I am so glad he agreed to fridays only for showings as it makes it much easier on me.
I seriously dont see anyone wanting to buy a house and then wait 15 months to move in though.I hope we get to buy it first :D

Mack's Hobby

Mack loves horses.She always has and she has one or 2 at my MIL.
She is currently taking riding lessons on saturday mornings and could not be happier.

Happy St.Paddy's Day

The sun was shining again today and guess what I have tulips coming up!?!
Spring is on the way.Tomorrow I will wash all the winter road salt off my car and clean out the inside from salt/dirt etc and get it all spiffy again.
The kids are enjoying school and having fun in the sun.
Mack is getting bored at school and someone is taking her snack and water bottle.She is
a bit scared to tell the teacher.I think Mama Bear is taking over ASAP since she is coming home hungry.
Miss Stinky aka Makayla is ever growing and being a little girl instead of a baby.She is opinionated and head strong ummm stubborn like her daddy mommy.
Deanna is doing great so far and just ready for spring.
Sørens job is going great as well.

Ahh the weekend is over

It has been a crazy way to fast weekend but we enjoyed it.We woke up this am later than usual and enjoyed it :)
Hubby went to start laundry and informed me the washer is toast.I am glad because it was so freaking small I could hardly wash anything.Blankets were sent to the cleaners it was so small.I am just glad it was towels that covered in grease when it crapped out.We have an awesome new one on the way and I hope it gets here soon.

Some friends came over today and the kids played and had so much fun.The L cried when it was time to leave.Before the guests came we went car shopping since we soooooo need another car now and bought this


We pick it up friday.So now hubby has his very own car :)

This Week..

has gone by ubber fast.I drove out a tank of gas getting kidlets where they needed to be etc.We are doing good on the getting everyone where they need to be on time though.We seem to be getting into a schedule and that feels good.Biz is good online but I wish more people came into the shop...oh well such is life.
Hubby is loving the new job and that makes me want to dance but you guys would LOL if you saw me..I can NOT dance.So tomorrow is pics for bday invitations and then my precious has to go in to be repaired.The good thing is they are giving me a loaner to use.
more later since I need to be sleeping :)

We Did It!!!

We did it and I cannot believe we pulled it off.You see this is the first time everyone had somewhere they needed to be before 8am.If you remember I talked about hubby getting a new job after being home 8 months.We only have one car(for now) so he has to deposit the kidlets off at school/daycare.Up at 6 am and 2 small kidlets dressed and ready by 7 am.Deanna can get herself ready and help with the little ones.This is exciting news for us as we are always late.I never used to be late and was always early and now I am late.Everytime we travel or try to go somewhere we are always at least an hour late leaving.So you see this is huge for us to be ready and out the door :)
I hope there are more mornings like this in store for us.

It is a very good day!

It is a very good day and let me tell you why.Søren lost his job on July 1st.He has looked and looked but nothing happened.He was getting a bit discouraged after all this time.The kids started getting sick about mid February.2 weeks ago Makayla got bronchitis and the next day Mack got it.Then last friday Macks turned to pneumonia and this week its an ear infection with pneumonia.Also monday Makayla got a tummy bug.So it has been a long 8 months with hubby home and 3 weeks with sick kids.I love hubby being home and all but the time has come for him to GOOOOOOOO.
He applied for a job the 8th of February and they called him in the week after for an interview on the 18th and told him they would let home know.He came home just hoping they would hire him and I hoped to for both our sakes.
They called the next day woooot and told him on monday the 22 they would send a link for a personality test and if they hired him when could he start.He completed it and waited.They said they would call the same day.We waited on snow and icicles for them to call back.He tried calling them and emailing and nothing.Friday they finally call and ask him to come in tuesday.He went in for the second interview and left feeling confident but did not want to get his hopes up.They said they would call by the end of the week.
He stopped of for some new pacifiers and change and came home.He was not even home 5 minutes and they called(this is where I do the happy happy happy dance) They hired him and told him he would start the 15th of March
They asked him to come in thursday(today) to sign the paper work and all that jazz.
He got there and sent me a text that he would start tomorrow!?!?!.
Yippeee but we are not ready.We need another car and we had apointments scheduled for next week before he started.
Oh well we will make it and it will be weird without him here.
I will survive :D
